Training to aid Houses of Worship of an Active Threat

February 9, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Advocate Condell, Good Shepherd, and Sherman Hospitals in collaboration with Lake County Sherriff’s office will provide a free Active Shooter Training for Houses of Worship training. In consultation with our law enforcement officers, we have expanded this program from a two-hour session to a day-long event from 9:00 to 3:00 p.m. To meet the demand, we are also moving this training from our hospitals to the Grainger Auditorium in Lake Forest which is easily accessible from the tollway. This training will be held, Friday, February 9, 2018 with a check-in and continental breakfast at 8:15 a.m. and the program starting promptly at 9:00 a.m. and concluding at 3:00 p.m.

There is no cost to attend. Seating is limited. RSVP is required to attend. I highly recommend a house of worship bring a team of members so that you may continue the planning and preparation for your context after this training. This event will include continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments.

RSVP to Maria Martinez at maria.martinez1@advocatehealth.com include your name, congregation, phone number, and email address.
