Freedom from Fear Devotional

Thank you for expressing interest in the “Freedom from Fear” journey. This is a journey with Christ to lead you on the path to freedom as it pertains to dealing with the “fears” in our lives that keep us from being who God created us to be. We all deal with “fear” everyday of our lives, in various manifestations that we don’t even recognize. I am hopeful that you are prayerful about this journey, and if you hear God leading you to take this journey, I pray that you remain faithful to God, who has always been faithful to us.

Here’s how it works:

Embedded here is a link to the program called Fear Not: 31 Days to Freedom From FearThe link is also at the bottom of this page.  Starting the first of the month, I hope you hear from God and decide to take this journey. There are 31 scriptures that address fear.

Step 1: Pray each day before you begin your daily journey to have freedom from your fears.

Step 2: Read the focus scripture and the passage it comes from in the Bible.

Step 3: Write the focus scripture down on an index card, so you can carry it with you throughout the day, and refer to it when fear rears its ugly head.

Step 4: Read and meditate on the devotion included for you on this journey.

Step 5: Pray after your meditation that God gives you the courage throughout the day to face your fears, knowing that you already have the victory.

Step 6: At the end of the day, or next morning, make a journal entry, reflecting on how you experienced freedom from your fears as it pertains to the focus scripture.

This probably will add about 15-20 minutes on your daily time with God.

The best part of this journey is that it will bring you into a closer relationship with God. You will become more intimate with God on this journey, because you will address the fears that have kept you from a closer relationship with God. Praise God!
