DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Delegates and Authorized Ministers of the Prairie Association are called to the 2024 Prairie Association Fall Meeting.\n\nTheme: “Stronger Together”: Affirming our Covenant into the Future\n\nLocation:\nZion UCC\n1521 6th St\, Peru\, IL 61354\n\nDay\, Date\, and Time:\nSaturday\, September 28\, 2024\nRegistration & Refreshments\, 8:30am\nOpening Worship\, 9:00\nLunch\, 12:00 pm\nClosing Prayers\, 2:00 pm\n\nAgenda Items:\n\n\tThe Fall Meeting is our business meeting\, affirming the\n\tIllinois Conference UCC and Prairie Association Leadership Reports\n\tPresentation on the Conference Financial Review\n\tFollow-up on the Illinois Conference Constitution and Bylaws\n\tAction on the Resolution: “Re-Covenanting as the Prairie Association.” The Text of the Resolution can be found here.\n\tElection of Association Officers and Representatives to Conference Leadership Positions\n\tContinued Intentional conversations on being “Stronger Together” across the Association and between our Local Churches\n\nWe need your presence!!\n\nIn order to complete the business portion it is imperative to have a quorum to complete the vote.  As stated in the Organizational Covenant of the Prairie Association:\nVoting membership of any Meeting of this Association will consist of the members of the Executive Council\, all ordained\, licensed and commissioned ministers holding standing in the Prairie Association\, all volunteer staff as appointed by the Executive Council\, and two adult delegates and one youth delegate from each church. A quorum for meetings of the Association (except for Ecclesiastical Councils) will consist of fifty voting delegates representing one third of the churches of the Association. \n\nRegistration is $35 per person and includes the cost of lunch (please specify your dietary needs during registration). Lunch will be buffet style service with options for dietary needs. The deadline to register is September 21st. You can also register at the door\, but pre-registration is strongly encouraged so we can ensure we have enough food for lunch. If you have dietary restrictions\, you MUST pre-register in order for those needs to be met.\n\n\tTo pay online when registering (preferred)\, select the "Pay Now" option at check out then click "REGISTER". A new window will pop-up for you to fill out your payment information. When done\, click "Register & Pay."\n\tTo pay by check\, select the "Pay in Person" option at check out then click "REGISTER" to complete your registration. Make your check payable to "Illinois Conference UCC" and include "PA Fall Meeting" in the memo line. You will pay at the door.\n\nIf you need assistance registering\, please contact the Conference Office (708-344-4470) and talk to Naomi or Sarah. The Conference Office is open Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.\n\nNOTE: YOU MUST CLICK THE “REGISTER” BUTTON AT THE END TO SUBMIT YOUR REGISTATION AND PAYMENT. You will receive a confirmation email after you register.
