SUMMARY:Western Association Fall Meeting
DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Delegates and Authorized Ministers of the Western Association are called to the 2024 Fall Meeting. The Western Association Fall Business Meeting will take place on Saturday\, October 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at First Congregational Church in Canton. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m.\n\nMeeting Agenda:\n9:00 AM - Registration\n10:00 AM - Opening Worship\n10:30 AM - Constitutional Journey presented by members of Community UCC of Morton\n11:00 AM - Business Meeting\n12:00 PM - Lunch\n1:00 PM - Governance Task Force on the proposed Conference Constitution and Bylaws\n2:00 PM - Outdoor Ministries presentation on their new proposal (tentative)\n3:00 PM - Departure\n\nThe voting membership of the Association shall consist of the ordained\, Commissioned\, and licensed ministers holding standing in the Association and two (2) duly elected lay delegates and one (1) youth delegate (age 22 or under) from each local church.\n\nA quorum shall consist of 40% of Western Association churches representing a majority of the Clusters.\n\nThere is no cost for registration\, but there is a suggested free will donation of $15. You can pay this online via credit/debit or ACH when registering or by cash or check at the event. A boxed lunch will be provided. Please specify any dietary needs during registration.\n\nThe deadline to register is October 7th.\n\nClick here to register online. If a confirmation email doesn’t arrive within 5 minutes or you need help registering\, please contact the Conference Office (708-344-4470) and talk to Naomi or Sarah. The office is open Monday-Friday\, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.\n\nNOTE: When registering - please enter First and Last Name ONLY to start. No titles.
